My Personal Learning Network

As an educator, I find my self scouring the web for lesson and activity ideas! As an educator in the modern world, you are no longer alone in your classroom. You have to be connected to the world around you, because what one 10 year old is learning on the east coast could be substantially different than a 10 year old the west coast!

My Pinterest

I’ve found Pinterest to be one of the most valuable tools as an educator! It’s a great starting point to find activities that teachers have shared from their own classrooms! It is also a wonderful place to connect and follow educators around the country and world!

My Twitter

It very important to be connected on social media! It is not only a great way to connect with other educators and education companies. It can also be used as a platform to communicate with students and parents!

Super Teacher Worksheets

Super Teacher Worksheets is one of my favorite new websites that was introduced to me by Fredericksburg City Schools! You have access to hundreds of worksheets of all grade levels. If you even don’t have something planned for the day STWs is the way to go!

Google Drawing

Google Drawings is one of the biggest things I will take away from this class. It such an easy tool to use and so easy to integrate into your classroom! The best part is you can make it full screen and students can manipulate it write on the board! Magical!
